The CMCA has had a long standing policy over many years concerning fire buckets.
It is Club policy that at each Rally, Chapter or SIG event, once a Member has sited his/her vehicle he/she is to immediately place a full bucket of water (approx 12 litres) at the front of the vehicle next to the passenger side wheel.
It was recently brought to the attention of the Club that 12 litre capacity buckets are quite rare and that the most common size bucket (which most Members would carry) is approximately 8 - 9 litres capacity.
The size (capacity) for a fire bucket is hereby set at:
"a 'standard bucket' being a minimum of approximately 8 - 9 litres capacity"
