Highway Wanderers have a different lifestyle from those motorhomers who use their vehicles for weekending, holidaying, or tripping.
While each of us has a different agenda, as can be seen from the interviews elsewhere on this site, there tends to be a common thread in our individual ways of going about it.
We're not on holiday. We're not tourists. While we are on the road, we're living our whole life in our motorhomes. Some days we may do nothing just as we did when we lived in a house.
When we find ourselves in a place, we don't have to see everything. We generally assume we will be coming back, however far it is from anywhere else.
Rather than visiting different places, we are living wherever we happen to be at the time.
We have conciously given up our previous lifestyle hoping for, and expecting, a different kind of life experience.
Deadlines are to be avoided as far as possible. Decisions about staying or going, about which direction to head, about how fast we want to go, can be made each day.
Obviously, we still have family connections and friends, some of us have houses or even businesses to worry about, but the lifestyle is about living for the day.
