It’s great to have you as a member
of our happy group of travellers
Due to strict Privacy Laws we are prohibited from printing
information pertaining to members without their written permission. Attached is a form that should be filled out
and returned as soon as possible. This will enable us to publish a list of all
Highway Wanderers with only the information authorized by each member. If
you have already completed one of these Privacy Act forms please ignore this
paragraph.
We are continuing to compile a photographic record of members
with their motorhomes so we can put faces and vehicles to names. This will be
available for members perusal at each Highway Wanderers Chapter meeting (we hope
there will be more of these in the future) and at National and Anniversary
Rallies. So if you have a photo handy, send it in. Also please let us know the
name of your vehicle (if any).
As we do not have many opportunities for fund raising to meet
the running costs of the Chapter we ask members for a levy of ten dollars a year
and then any money raised at raffles etc goes towards our fun activities.
By supplying us with a proposed itinerary on a regular basis
we are able to include your travel details in the Wanderer. The itinerary is a
reference point for contact between fellow travelers in the same area at a
certain time.
We enclose a Highway Wanderers sticker for each new chapter
member. This may be attached to your CMCA membership cardholder and identifies
you as a Highway Wanderer at any CMCA event. The Highway Wanderers have a
chapter shirt and vehicle stickers which further identifies you as a Highway
Wanderer.
We look forward to receiving any new letters, e-mails or
postcards about your travels. These can often be used as information in the
newsletter.
If you have any questions regarding the Chapter or items that are unique to
this Chapter’s lifestyle, please let us know. We will try to help in any way
possible
Meanwhile, enjoy your travels and we look forward to meeting
you along the way. signed
