 Instructions for HW members to log into their "My Highway Wanderers account"

1. Go to the Highway Wanderers web site and then click on "My_Stuff link and then right click on Click here to sign into My Highway Wanderers account  and select open in new page/tab. (that way you can come back to these instructions if you havent printed or copied them)
When the page opens click on "sign in" which is on the righthand side of the page.The new page will load and in the green box where your cursor is already blinking at you type in your username which is the first part nof your email address that comes before the @highwaywanderers.com. Next type in your password and then click on sign in. Any problems email me with the details.

Instructions for HW members to log into their "My Group Chat Room account"

1. Go to the Highway Wanderers web site and then click on "My_Stuff link and then right click on " Click here to sign into My Group Chat Room" and select open in new page/tab. (that way you can come back to these instructions if you havent printed or copied them) On the page that opens click on "Sign in to Google Groups" which is on the left hand side of the page.The new page will load and on the right hand side type in your full highway wanderers email address where it says email, Next type in your password and then click on sign in. Any problems email me with the details.

1. Take the following link to the map

2. Sign in with your Google account or Gmail account details.  If you don’t have a Google account, open one and log in. 
3. Zoom in or out to your location 
4. Click “Edit” 
5. Be careful NOT to highlight or move another icon 
6. Click on the blue balloon icon at the LHS of the map 
7. Click on the map where you are located and the icon will appear 
8. Edit the title bar of the popup window to your own name/s 
9. Select the balloon icon in the popup window and change the icon to whatever you desire from the default icons list 
10. Add some descriptive text to the window 
11. You can insert a picture from a URL address but make sure it is about 200x150px or less 
12. When you are satisfied select OK and then SAVE from the LHS panel then DONE. 
13. Save the map in “My Maps” by clicking on the “Save to My Maps” link.  
14. Logout now so as to minimise the chances of accidental edits to other peoples icons, you will still be able to view the map. 

Subsequent Changes 

15. Log in to Google Maps, then go to “My Maps 
16. Click on the map name 
17. Click “Edit” 
18. Move your icon to your new location 
19. Click “Save” and/or Done” 
20. Logout 

To view the Members Calendar

Log into your account, go to your inbox and then click on calendars up the top. When your calendar page opens go to other calendars and click on add and then click on add a coworkers calendar and type in the following email address without the brackets. (hwc@highwaywanderers.com) Then to view the calendar all you do is click on the link that has now appeared which is called "Members Calendar"
