We are a proud Chapter of the Campervan & Motorhome Club of Australia

Victoria Bushfire Appeal

Our hearts go out to our fellow Australians who are suffering the effects of the disastrous bushfires in  Victoria. The Board has decided to conduct an appeal to help those in need. The Club has started the appeal by donating $5,000. Donations can be from individual Members or from Chapters – let us all dig deep and show we care! We will report on the progress of this appeal and how the proceeds are spent. This appeal will remain open until further notice.

Donations can be forwarded to National Headquarters, with cheques and money orders being made payable to ‘CMCA Victoria Bushfire Appeal’. Alternatively, individual Members can make donations via direct deposit to the account via any bank branch in Australia, or via their internet banking facility. Should you choose this method, please include your Membership number as a reference. The details for the account are as follows -

Account Name- Campervan & Motorhome Club of Australia Ltd – Victoria Bushfire Appeal

BSB- 032-505

Account Number- 251725

Unfortunately we are unable to accept credit or debit card payments to this account. Members should note that as the Club is not a registered charity it cannot issue tax deductible receipts for monies donated to this Fund. National Headquarters will send out a letter of acknowledgement for donations from individual Members who donate more than $500.00 and for all donations received from Chapters.

Donations will be paid to a well recognised charity, such as the Red Cross, Salvation Army, Victoria Premier’s Appeal or similar. Donations will go towards the comfort and support of all Australians affected by this disaster, not just CMCA Members.

Many Members travel to this wonderful part of Australia or have friends and relatives in the areas affected by this terrible tragedy. Please contribute to this appeal to assist those who are suffering.
