A New Book of Traveller's Poetry

"Around the Block" is the first collection of verses from Hazel Beneke, compiled from her writings over the last twelve years. The subject matter naturally covers some of her adventures on the road, or associated with the motorhoming fraternity. Her attachment to the land, resulting from this lifestyle, is illustrated in poems on a wide variety of topics, ranging from drought and floods, birds and trees, to camp-fires and fishing. The poems are delightfully illustrated by Hazel's watercolour teacher, Lola Watts.
